Can it get any hotter!?

I am not sure how much more of this heat I can take. I look out the window and feel my body temp rising. Two steps out of the front door and I get a sunburn! My flowers are wilting, I have a collection of 200 or so dried up worms on the front driveway and my grass is starting to turn yellow.
